Important: Although Malta is part of Europe, your Dutch health insurance does not always provide full or suitable coverage for a longer stay or study program abroad. Certain treatments, specialist care, sports-related injuries, or emergency transportation back to the Netherlands may not always be fully covered. Some programs or educational institutions in Malta may also require specific additional insurance.
A specialized student or travel insurance policy often offers broader and more appropriate coverage.
